Reader's cards may be declined due to issues with the bank or card issuer. Please have the reader contact their bank or card issuer to request authorization for the purchase. Once authorization has been granted, the reader may need to try completing the payment once more.
Often we find that this happens if a user enters the wrong CVC code. We don't display the exact reason for the decline in order to avoid fraud and to avoid users attempting to run cards and figure out which cards might be valid.
A user can enter a new card or retry entering their card information to make sure that it is correct in order to try the transaction again.
